RI Mandatory Overtime Law Goes Into Effect
Rhode Island’s new mandatory overtime law took effect on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. The new law prohibits hospitals from forcing nurses and nurses' aides to work beyond their scheduled shift, except in true emergencies.
